e-registration is the online registration system for admission to MBA(Full-Time), Ph.D.(Management) and evening programmes: MBA-Executive and MBA-Executive(Health Care Administration) offered by the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi.
Admission to MBA(Full-Time) programme will be based on CAT-2012 score, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Admission to Ph.D.(Management) programme will be based on CAT-2012 score and Personal Interview. Common Admission Test will be conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management from October 11, 2012 to November 06, 2012. Candidates may visit www.catiim.in to appear in the Common Admission Test (CAT)-2012. Applicants who have not taken CAT-2012 will not be considered for admission. At least 50 percentile score in each section of the CAT-2012 is required by a candidate to be short-listed for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
Admission to evening programmes: MBA–Executive and MBA-Executive(Health Care Administration) will be based on Personal Interview and other selection criteria as given in the Information Brochure.
The Candidate will be required to produce their certificates including that of category and mark sheets in original, at the time of interview after which no claim will be admissible.
There are two stages in the e-registration process. Kindly note that without completing both stages (stage 1 and stage 2), your registration will be considered as incomplete and thus will be cancelled.
Pre-requisites for Applying Online:
1. A candidate needs to have access to a computer with a printer. However, the form can be saved and printed at a later stage up to the last date December 14, 2012. CAT-2012 registration number is mandatory for a candidate applying for admission to MBA(Full-Time) and Ph.D.(Management) programmes.
2. Payment of registration fee can be made by choosing any one of the modes given below.
a. Registration Fee can be paid by a crossed Demand Draft (Please keep your DD ready at the time of online registration).
b. Registration Fee can be paid through the Internet Payment Gateway of the HDFC Bank by your credit card/ debit card.
Candidates belonging to all categories including General, OBC, CW (other than SC/ST/PH) are required to pay a registration fee of Rs. 1000 and candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH are required to pay a registration fee Rs. 350 for applying to each program.
For eligibility conditions and reservation of seats for non-general categories, please refer to the information brochures on www.fms.edu Please ensure that you satisfy the eligibility conditions, before you register and pay online or through bank draft as the fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.
3. Candidates who wish to apply for more than one course have to register and pay separately for each course.
4. Those paying through Demand Draft (DD) may please note that one single DD of the required amount is to be made from a Scheduled/Nationalized bank in favour of 'The Registrar, University of Delhi' payable at Delhi.
5. You have the option to upload your photograph, signature and Left Thumb Impression (LTI) in JPEG or JPG format. If not, candidates may choose to affix their passport-size colour photograph, signature and Left Thumb Impression (LTI) in the space provided on the printed Acknowledgment Form and send it to FMS so as to reach latest by 21st December 2012.
6. Candidates belonging to reserved categories should send self-attested photocopies of caste/category certificates along with the printed Application Acknowledgement Form.
7. Candidates applying to Executive Programmes including HCA must submit SPONSORSHIP CERTIFICATE only in requisite format (Click here) from their organisation in original with documents mentioned in 5 and 6 above without which their applications would be rejected. The sponsorship certificate should NOT be transmitted on-line /e-mailed by employers. Also, these candidates will have to write Statement of Purpose separately at the time of interview.(Others have to write this on acknowledgment form in the space provided.)
Advantages of applying online (e-registration):
• By registering through e-registration, your application details reach us instantly. You have to send the printed version of the Application Acknowledgement Form along with enclosures; to ‘The Assistant Consultant, Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007’, so as to reach on or before 21st December, 2012.
• A receipt of the acknowledgement will be sent to your e-mail ID provided while registering online.
• You can view the status of your application by using your e-mail ID as your Login ID and the password chosen by you.
• e-registration will also prompt if you skip any mandatory fields, thus minimizing the chances of your application getting rejected.
Points to Remember:
• All candidates will have to register using Online Registration System only.
• Applicants for MBA(Full-Time) and non-test exempted Ph.D. candidates (refer to www.du.ac.in; Enrolment to Doctoral Programmes) have to appear for the CAT-2012 Examination conducted by the IIMs.
• Your Application Acknowledgement Form should be printed and accompanied by a DD ,with name and registration number written on the back (if payment mode is offline) for the requisite registration fee, caste/category certificate (if applicable) and a passport-size colour photograph. For Executive programmes, candidates must also compulsorily attach 'Sponsorship Certificate' from their employer.
• There will be no other mode of registration for admission to FMS, Delhi.
• Email ID must be active atleast till August 2013.
• An executive work experience of 5 years is mandatory for candidates applying for all executive courses.
• There are no category concessions for Ph.D. applicants, hence they have to deposit the full fee of Rs.1000.
